BFFs

I told Jodie on New Years Eve while we were lunching at Applebees. She cried. It made me cry and also laugh because I really wasn't expecting that from her. She's pretty excited and I'm excited that she's excited. I'm glad that she's very interested in what's going on with me because I think David's about done listening to me.

I told Kelly today. I was on the phone with her but had to get off quick so I sent her a text later.

Me: I have some good gossip for you to share...

        I'm pregnant!!!
        Due 30 July.

K: LOL..ok???

David and I were eating lunch and I showed him her text. We were both very confused. WTF kind of response is that? Turns out, she hadn't scrolled down so she just saw that I had good gossip and was waiting for more. When she finally scrolled down she was quite excited and expressed it through multiple texts full of "OMG", "wow!", "congrats!", etc. and lots of exclamation marks.

I'm so glad those two finally know. Who knew keeping secrets was so hard?!

We can't wait to tell work. Not because we're so excited to tell them but because we never really realized until I was pregnant how much people talk about babies. Seriously. All the time!
