New Skillz and Omega 3s
At dinner last night, I evenly distributed equal amounts of green beans and salmon pieces and a little sticky rice on Evan's tray. I always mix them up because, until recently, he'd randomly grab whatever his hand fell on so that was the best way to ensure a good variety. Well, last night, my boy proved his sorting abilities as he picked through it all to get the pink (salmon) pieces. He then tried some white and left all the green bean pieces behind. (He eventually ate the green beans, but I had to hand feed them to him because he wasn't going to voluntarily do it himself.) I think that's a pretty advanced skill. And, I'm so happy that he's such a good eater. I wouldn't even touch fish until a few years ago. I hope he stays this way.
